Tallulah Willis Wears Custom Balenciaga Couture Wedding Gown

Writer, artist, and advocate Tallulah Willis married musician Justin Acee on August 8th in Sun Valley, Idaho, following a final wedding dress fitting at the Chateau Marmont with Vogue.

Balenciaga Couture Dress Details

The strapless column dress is crafted from silk satin, fully backed with silk organza, and features a draped train skirt and bow. It took 712 hours to create, including 405 hours of construction and atelier alterations, and nine hours for the veil. Hand embroidery, created by Balenciaga artisans, adorned each organza petal with individual beadwork.

Design Inspiration and Process

Tallulah collaborated with stylist Brad Goreski to gather inspiration, which included references to a Balenciaga look her mother wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar party. Pierpaolo Piccioli, Balenciaga’s creative director, designed the dress specifically for Tallulah, creating a ‘package’ with the bow.

Family Reactions and Transformation

Family members urged Tallulah to see the dress, resulting in an eruption of applause and excitement upon her reveal. Friends described her as transforming into a ‘movie star goddess’ with the addition of the veil.

Demi Moore, Tallulah’s mother, recalled Pierpaolo’s dedication, stating he spent four hours with them after his first Balenciaga couture collection.
